The Role:
As the Senior Brand/Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the full scope of our product marketing efforts in the China market, from ideation and development to go-to-market strategy and post-launch analysis. You will be the key driver of our product innovation pipeline, ensuring our offerings resonate with local consumer trends and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development & Innovation:
- Lead market analysis to identify new product opportunities and emerging trends in the China color cosmetics landscape.
- Manage the full product development cycle, working closely with R&D, operations, and global teams to bring new products to life.
- Oversee product formulation, packaging design, and naming in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for all new product launches and key marketing campaigns.
- Craft compelling product messaging and unique selling propositions (USPs) that captivate our target audience.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and retail teams to ensure seamless execution and strong launch performance.
- Brand Communication & Marketing:
- Develop and manage the marketing calendar, aligning with both local and global brand initiatives.
- Drive brand awareness and product advocacy through impactful marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and retail channels.
- Collaborate with our content and PR teams to create engaging content and powerful storytelling around our products.
- Performance Analysis & Insights:
- Monitor product performance, sales data, and market share to identify key insights and opportunities for optimization.
- Utilize consumer feedback and market research to inform future product strategies and campaign adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in brand or product marketing within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Proven track record of success in both front-end product development (ideation, concepting, product management) and back-end marketing communications (go-to-market strategy, campaign management).
- Deep understanding of the China beauty market, including consumer behaviors, key trends, and competitive landscape.
- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
